Back in the day we reviewed the Parrot AR Drone 2.0 which we called the most dangerous thing (yet hands down the coolest) we’ve ever had in the office. There was so much to love about it but the image quality and difficulty of flight were not some of them. With the latest offering, the Bebop Drone Parrot have pretty much addressed all of them.

The Bebop drone packs a 14MP camera on a 3-Axis stabilization system, creates its own WiFi hotspot, has embedded GPS that allows for autonomous flight, can be operated at distances of up to 2KM away and weighs UNDER 400g! The Bebop drone is made of ABS plastic and has a familiar design albeit a smaller footprint than the AR Drone 2.0.

As usual, the Parrot Bebop Drone is piloted via iOS device but with the SkyController, it looks that much more impressive and you gain the 2KM range that it lacks relying on WiFi alone.
We want one of these. Bad.
